The Sterling Fund

Named in honor of Sterling, a severely emaciated gelding rescued from the Bowie auction, this fund was created to offer dignity, medical care, and peaceful end-of-life support to the horses who need it most.

Sterling’s time with us was brief, but powerful. He was given a soft landing, a name, and the care he deserved. This fund ensures that even when we can’t promise a long life, we can still promise a kind ending.

The Mountain Horse Fund

Some moments change everything, and for Sophia, it began the day two horses wandered into her quiet mountain space and simply stayed.

No owner, no trail to follow, just two souls who felt at home with her. Over time, they became part of her days, her healing, her rhythm. When caring for them became too heavy- a weight we know well- support arrived in the softest way.

We’re honored to stand with Sophia as she continues their care through winter, and beyond.
